Shared Day Trip To Ait Ben Haddou From Marrakech
Pick you up from your Marrakech hotel or riad after breakfast to begin your day adventure to Ouarzazate and the Kasbah. We’ll pass through the Tizi n’Tichka pass road, which is the highest road in North Africa. You deviate from the main path immediately after the crossing to Telouet, where we’ll stop to see the ancient Glaoui Kasbah, which regulated the flow of caravans delivering products from Sub-Saharan Africa to Marrakech for five centuries.
After viewing the site, we will go through the Onnila valley, with its adobe communities constructed at the foot of the mountains. We’ll stop for a typical lunch in a neighboring restaurant after arriving at Kasbah ait Ben Haddou before commencing our tour of the UNESCO monument. This landmark location, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has been used in films such as Game of Thrones, Babel, Gladiator, and many more. The Tizi-n-Tichka road (2260 m), with its adobe settlements clinging to the slope and spectacular reliefs in varying colours, is one of southern Morocco’s most picturesque main routes. Arrive in Marrakech late in the day.
